Over €1.2 million invested annually in community programmes, education, and social initiatives across the island.
As a member-owned cooperative, our success belongs to the communities we serve. We do not distribute profits to external shareholders — instead, we reinvest them into programmes that strengthen Cyprus: educational scholarships, small business support, housing assistance, and financial literacy workshops that have reached tens of thousands of Cypriots.
Community investment is not a marketing exercise for CUSB — it is built into our founding mission. Since 1962, we have been inseparable from the towns, villages, and neighbourhoods we operate in. When Cyprus thrives, we thrive. When our communities face hardship, we step up.
From Nicosia to Paphos, our community team works year-round to identify and fund the projects that matter most to our members and their families.
Four flagship programmes delivering lasting impact across the island.
Since 2012, our Financial Literacy Programme has delivered free workshops, seminars, and school visits across all regions of Cyprus. We believe that financial knowledge is a right, not a privilege — and that empowered individuals make stronger communities.
Our scholarship programme has supported over 340 Cypriot students since its launch in 2005. We fund undergraduate and postgraduate education at Cypriot and European universities, with a focus on students from lower-income households who demonstrate academic excellence.
Home ownership remains one of the most meaningful financial milestones for Cypriots. Our Affordable Housing Initiative provides subsidised mortgage rates, deposit assistance grants, and free first-home buyer consultations to help more Cypriot families access housing affordably.
Cyprus's entrepreneurs and small business owners are the backbone of the island's economy. Our SME Support Programme goes beyond loans — we provide grants, mentorship, and access to a network of experienced business advisors to help local businesses start, grow, and succeed.
